1. Agreement and service provider
These Terms govern your use of FileMaster 3000, a local desktop file manager and the accompanying website for downloads, accounts, and billing, available at https://filemaster3000.com. The service provider is Shopast Group Oy ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and legally capable of entering this agreement.
Effective: August 2026 · Last updated: August 2026
2. The service and your right to use it
FileMaster 3000 is a desktop file manager you install on Windows, macOS, or Linux, together with this website for downloads, accounts, and billing. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the desktop app for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms and your plan.
The Free explorer is provided without charge. Features such as workbook chat, the local search index, Live Text with vision fallback, and AI-assisted image edits may require FileMaster Plus. Plan limits are described on the pricing page before purchase.
You may not sell, sublicense, scrape, or commercially exploit the service, or reverse engineer it except to the extent mandatory law permits.
3. Accounts, suspension, and termination
Keep your account information accurate and credentials secure. Tell us promptly at support@filemaster3000.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
You may stop using the service or request account deletion at any time. We may proportionately restrict or suspend access to protect the service or others, investigate abuse, or address a material breach. Unless urgent action is needed, we will give reasonable notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
4. Acceptable use
You are responsible for the files you open and the network drives you map. Do not use FileMaster to access systems you are not authorised to use.
Do not use the service to break the law or others' rights; submit malware or harmful, fraudulent, or unlawful content; harass or impersonate anyone; bypass access, safety, usage, or payment controls; disrupt or probe the website or Beam pairing; or enable another person to do any of these things.
5. Prices, subscriptions, cancellation, and withdrawal
FileMaster Plus is a monthly subscription billed by our payment processor until cancelled. The current price, taxes where applicable, payment method, renewal interval, and cancellation process are shown on the pricing page and again before you order. You may cancel future renewals through the billing portal or by contacting us.
FileMaster Plus does not include usage on third-party AI providers. When you connect your own key, that provider bills you under their terms.
We may change a subscription price prospectively for valid business reasons. We will give reasonable advance notice and, where the change is adverse, allow you to cancel before it applies.
If you are an EU/EEA consumer, you generally have 14 days after entering a distance contract to withdraw without giving a reason. If you expressly ask us to start a paid service during that period and then withdraw, you may owe a proportionate amount for service already supplied. Any loss of a withdrawal right for immediately supplied digital content applies only after the express consent and acknowledgement required by law. To withdraw, send an unambiguous statement to support@filemaster3000.com.
Nothing in these Terms limits statutory remedies for digital content or services that do not conform to the contract.
6. Content and intellectual property
We and our licensors retain rights in FileMaster 3000, its software, branding, and the website. You retain all rights in the files on your disks. We do not claim ownership of documents you open, edit, or chat about in the desktop app.
You grant us a limited licence to host, process, reproduce, and transmit account, billing, and support content only as needed to operate, secure, and provide the requested website service.
You must have the rights needed to open, copy, or send files, including when using Beam, and must not infringe another person's privacy, confidentiality, or intellectual-property rights.
7. Availability and disclaimers
We aim to provide the website and desktop app with reasonable care and skill, but they may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance, security, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We may improve or change features while preserving paid users' contractual and statutory rights.
AI answers can be wrong. Verify before acting on extracted text, OCR, citations, spreadsheet queries, or image edits. FileMaster is not a substitute for professional advice.
To the extent permitted by law, the service is otherwise provided without additional warranties. We do not exclude warranties or guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your mandatory consumer rights.
Subject to that rule, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss, loss caused by your breach or misuse, or business losses suffered by a consumer. Any further limitation applies only to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
9. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland and the European Union. Courts in Helsinki, Finland have jurisdiction, but if you are an EU/EEA consumer you also retain mandatory protections of your country of residence and may bring proceedings in any court available to you under applicable consumer law.
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern informally.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for legal, security, technical, or service-related reasons. We will give reasonable advance notice of material changes where required. Changes will not apply retroactively. If a material change adversely affects an ongoing paid service, you may cancel before it takes effect. Your rights under mandatory law remain unaffected.
